Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister: â€œThe western countries seek to change and exploit the boundaries of the world as they wishâ€

Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Refugees and IDPs, Ali Hasanov said this at the presentation ceremony of the three-volume book titled “Leyla Aliyeva: “Justice for Khojaly!” (new strategic model against international Armenian terror)”, APA reports.

“In her speech in Armenia, Moldovan Ombudsman Aurelia Grigoriu accused Armenians of having committed the Khojaly genocide. She was braver than many of Azerbaijani men. Even they haven’t made such a speech in Armenia”, he said.

Hasanov called on the Council of Europe and other structures speaking on protection of human rights to draw a lesson from the Moldovan Ombudsman. “6 million people became refugees and IDPs in recent years as a result of the events in the Arab countries and Syria. What are the western countries doing? What did they do in Irag and Afghanistan? It is obvious what is happening today in Ukraine. The western countries seek to change and exploit the boundaries of the world as they wish. And consequently these problems arise”, he said.

“The settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will depend on the people and President of Azerbaijan. The main way is to strengthen Azerbaijan’s economy and army. The President has also chosen this way. The other way is that the Armenian people should wake up and change the criminal regime” said Hasanov.
