Baku. Rufat Ahmadzada - APA. “The Azerbaijani president has raised the issue of returning hostages Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev at a meeting with the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group in Baku”, said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, APA reports.
Mammadyarov said that he talked about this issue with the Russian co-chair.
“He promised me to raise this issue before Armenia. We are still waiting for their response. The hostages must be returned. The Minsk Group should spar no efforts in this regard and I believe that the co-chairs are dealing with this matter”, the minister said.
To the question on the illegal trial of Dilagm Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev, the minister said: “This trial is illegal. And therefore, there is no need to explain anymore”.
