She expressed satisfaction with the successful development of cooperation.
“Azerbaijan is a very beautiful country. The impressions left from my visit to Azerbaijan two years ago and my current visit are quite rich and amazing. Your country’s economic development is indeed quite apparent. This in turn opens up new opportunities and also calls for a solution to some problems. Appropriate management of water resources, especially provision of drinkable water sources, and water supply for agriculture is important issues in the Netherlands, just as in Azerbaijan. Our cooperation is of great importance in terms of meeting people’s need for water and resolving some related problems in this area”, she said.
The minister mentioned that many Dutch companies have been functioning in Azerbaijan for four years.
“These companies are working to deepen seaports, river margins, the bottom of water basins and to clean the Bay of Baku. They are both companies and scientific research centers. I hope cooperation between the ministries will expand even further”, she concluded.
