Baku – APA. President Ilham Aliyev received outgoing ambassador of Russia to Azerbaijan Vasili Istratov on March 13, President’s press service told APA. The head of state underlined that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia were developing successfully in various spheres and said the ambassador’s diplomatic activity in Baku contributed to the relations. The president expressed his confidence that the relations between our countries would further extend and wished success to the outgoing ambassador.
Vasili Istratov noted the role of sincere relations between the two presidents in the development of mutual relations. Istratov said he was pleased to be ambassador in Azerbaijan.
