Tbilisi International Airport has fully resumed operations and is functioning normally, APA's local bureau reports.
According to a statement released by the airport, part of the waiting area was closed overnight in accordance with safety protocols due to technical issues caused by severe weather conditions.
"At present, all passenger service areas are operating normally, and all restrictions have been lifted. As a result, there were no flight delays at the airport. We apologize to passengers for the inconvenience caused," the statement said.
It should be noted that heavy rainfall in Tbilisi on the evening of the previous day caused water to leak into part of the airport, and electricity supply to the waiting area was temporarily suspended for safety reasons.
