"The Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) will be held in our country this autumn," Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during a joint press conference with Ayman Al Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, APA reports.
The minister said that he had informed his counterpart about the event.
The minister also noted that they exchanged views on recent tensions and conflicts: "We exchanged views on the current situation surrounding Iran. This situation must remain stable, and this issue should only be resolved through diplomatic means. Azerbaijan and Jordan have once again expressed their support in this regard."
