Two agreements on visa facilitation and energy cooperation have been signed between Azerbaijan and Jordan, APA reports.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry shared the information on its X account.
The post reads:
"Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Ayman Al-Safadi signed two agreements:
'Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on mutual exemption of the visa requirement for holders of ordinary passports;'
'Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on cooperation in the field of energy.'
The agreements will facilitate people-to-people contacts and contribute to expanding tourism, business, economic, energy and humanitarian ties between the two countries."
