Baku–APA. On March 13, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with the delegation headed by First Vice Speaker of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan (Jogorku Kenesh) Cholpon Bayekova. Bayekova said they arrived in Azerbaijan to exchange opinions on the development of interparliamentary relations, to attend the presentation of the book dedicated to world-known Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aytmatov and to discuss preparation to the writer’s jubilee events in Azerbaijan.
In his turn, the head of state highly appreciated the importance of the series events dedicated to the world-known Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aytmatov’s jubilee. President Aliyev emphasized the importance of the extension of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as elations between the parliaments of both countries.
