Legal reforms in Caucasus countries to be discussed at plenary session of Venice Commission

Baku. Viktoria Dementieva – APA. Legal reforms in the Caucasus countries will be discussed at the 78th plenary session of the Venice Commission on March 13-14, APA reports quoting the website of the Council of Europe. Views will be exchanged on the constitutional referendum in Azerbaijan. Amendments to the Criminal Code of Armenia and the Georgian law on occupied territories (Abkhazia and South Ossetia) will also be discussed at the plenary session.
The EU Special Representative for the Southern Caucasus, Peter Semneby, Director of Multilateral Relations and Human Rights of the European Commission, Veronique Arnault, and the Director of the OSCE Office of Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, Janez Lenarcic, will address the Commission.
