Russia gives an official answer to the Azerbaijanâ€™s note

The answer was submitted to the Azerbaijani embassyâ€™s counselor in Moscow Bakhish Zeynalov. â€œThe Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, answering the note 5/10-080/04/09 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan dated on January 15, 2009, states that the Defense Ministry of Russia didnâ€™t give or sell arms and ammunitions to Armenia, as it was showed in the â€œdocumentâ€, which caused negative resonance in Azerbaijan. The printed material is a disinformation, which has anti-Russian character, and doesnâ€™t contribute to the positive development of friendly relationship between Russia and Azerbaijan. The Russian side considers that the issue raised in the note on January 15, 2009 was ended and we would like to be assured that in future the sides will not make hasty conclusions if such concerns take place and will together resolve all doubts in the atmosphere of strategic partnership between the Russian Federation and Azerbaijanâ€.

The Russian foreign ministry hopes that Azerbaijani colleagues will deliver its answering note to the mass media too.
