Azerbaijan can work with the Council of Europe Venice Commission on referendum

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev -APA. Azerbaijan can work with the Council of Europe Venice Commission on referendum to take place on March 18, 2009, chief of the Milli Majlis (parliament) Office Safa Mirzayev told APA. He said it was early to express concrete opinion about the possible cooperation with the Venice Commission. Mirzayev said Azerbaijani side was thinking about the cooperation with the Venice Commission on the upcoming municipal elections in the country. â€œIt will be related to the certain amendments and changes to the Electoral Code. We are expecting for the proposals of the central Election Commission. After that we can begin cooperation with the Venice Commissionâ€.
