Embassies of Iran and Israel make announcement on Gaza bombing

Baku. Lachin Sultanova â€“ APA. The embassies of Iran and Israel in Azerbaijan made announcements on the Middle East developments over the past few days. Iranian embassy told APA many innocent Palestinians were killed in air strikes launched by the warplanes of Zionist regime on Gaza Strip, which added a new page to the black files of the Zionist regime. â€œThis attack is an obvious case of the state terrorism committed by the Zionist regime and violation of human rights as well. Silence of the international organizations, which are responsible for the tragedies in Gaza, and the countries claiming to defend the human rights, shows that they are insincere in their claims for the human rights and approach this issue with double standardsâ€.

Israeli embassy said the operation was a response to Hamasâ€™ missile attacks on Israeli civilians. â€œIsraelâ€™s attempts to stop the violence and missile attacks were unfortunately rejected by Hamas who continued sending hundreds of missiles. As a result, Israel saw the military operation against terror infrastructure in Gaza as an only option to protect its civiliansâ€.
