Georgian officials planned to escape to Azerbaijan

Tbilisi–APA. Most of the Georgian officials planned to escape to Azerbaijan in August during the war with Russia, said former border police commander of Georgia General-Lieutenant Badri Bisadze in his interview to Resonance newspaper, APA reports. He said the government officials waited in the border areas to leave the country if Russian army attacked Tbilisi. Bisadze said the officials decamped in the areas bordering with Azerbaijan, Armenia, Tukey and even with Russia. The former commander said some of the officials evacuated their families.
