I do not know what new form it will get, but up to now I know failure of the Minsk processâ€, Frederick Starr, Chairman of the Central Asia-Caucasus Institute of the John Hopkins University, told APA exclusively. “I think it is naive to expect some magic in the process of negotiations. Only way is that Moscow and Yerevan fundamentally change their views. There are intelligent people in Armenia who understand that it is deadlock and time moves on. It will be better if their voice will be heard in Armenia soon. Only after that the progress can be reached toward the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict and cooperation between the regional countriesâ€. Frederick Starr evaluated the Russia’s mediating mission in the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. “Russia has enough opportunities to resolve the Nagorno Karabakh problem, but Russia will not change its policy toward the South Caucasus and the issue will delay for the time beingâ€.
