Azerbaiajn and Jordan sign protocol on exchange of ratification decrees for extradition agreement

Baku. Lachin Sultanova–APA. On Friday, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov received Charge d ’Affairs of the Jordan’s Embassy in Baku Adil Mohammad Adaileh. Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA both sides emphasized that existing relations between the countries were established on the basis of friendship and brotherhood.
Khalaf Khalafov underlined the importance of intergovernmental commission established for the strengthening of cooperation and said the commission’s next meeting should promote increasing of trade turnover and deepening of the economic relations between the countries. Then they signed a protocol on exchange of ratification decrees for extradition agreement between Azerbaijan and the Hashemit Kingdom of Jordan, which will come into force on January 18, 2009.
Khalafov said signing of this document and validation of the extradition agreement between the countries was important for regulation of bilateral cooperation in this field.
