Governor of the West Azerbaijan province visits Nakhchivan

Nakhchivan. J. Gurbanoglu-APA. The delegation led by Rahim Gurbani, Governor of the West Azerbaijan province of Islamic Republic of Iran visited Nakhchivan, APA reports.
Vasif Talibov, Chairman of the Supreme Majlis (Parliament) of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic spoke about the relations between Iran and Autonomous Republic during the meeting held in Supreme Majlis.
Talibov noted that relations between universities, Youth and Sport Ministries, entrepreneurial and cultural spheres of two sides were developing at present. Talibov highly assessed the participation of delegation from Nakhchivan in economic, cultural and various events in Iran. Talibov said that 35.000 tons of beet-sugar was produced as a result of an agreement signed with Khoy sugar plant in 2007-2008 and beet-sugar produced this year would be sent to neighboring country in connection with the agreement.
Talibov added that cooperation on fishery also developed and stated that the contract signed with a businessman from West Azerbaijan province on increase of gold fish was concluded and pedigree fish was being increased at present. Talibov underlined that cooperation on education, tourism, ecology and various fields continued successfully and all-round cooperation would be further developed between the two sides.
Governor of the West Azerbaijan province of Islamic Republic of Iran Rahim Gurbani spoke about bilateral relations, and measures taken in these spheres.
