Goods turnover among GUAM countries increased 38 percent

Baku. Lachin Sultanova â€“ APA. The 8th meeting of GUAMâ€™s working group on economic and commercial issues was held in Kiev. APA reports that the representatives of the ministries of member countries and GUAM Secretariat attended the meeting. The cooperation of GUAM member states in economic-commercial field was discussed at the meeting. It was noted that goods turnover had increased.

This figure increased by 38 percent within 9 months of this year compared with the reporting period of last year. The work schedule of the working group for 2009 was coordinated at the meeting. It was decided to hold the next meeting in Kiev in the second quarter of 2009.
