U.S. envoy to the OIC meets Azerbaijani journalists

Baku. Lachin Sultanova-APA. Sada Cumber, US Special Envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, has today met with journalists at Baku American Center.
According to him, the United States is a country with about 7 million Muslims who openly and freely practice their faith in about 2 000 mosques.
He added that the election of Barack Hussein Obama with a Muslim name has changed impression of some people about the United States.
Asked whether there would be positive changes in the relations between the United States and Muslim countries during the presidency of Obama who grew up in a Muslim family, Sada Cumber said: â€œI hope that the new administration will pay attention to the areas which the previous one didnâ€™tâ€.
He noted that he has no detailed information about the Nagorno Karabakh Conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
