Baku – APA. Azerbaijani ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Elman Arasli met chairman of the Jordanian Senate Taher Masri. The embassy told APA that besides the prospects of the Azerbaijan-Jordan inter-parliamentary cooperation, the sides discussed the current situation of the relations between the two countries.
Arasli expressed his gratitude to Taher Masri for his participation in the official reception on 28 May – the Day of Republic, which has been organized by the Embassy and estimated it as a manifestation of respect of the Jordanian government to Azerbaijan.
The ambassador also met first deputy chairman of the Jordanian Senate Abdel Raouf al-Rawabdeh and discussed the issues of mutual interest.
