Baku. Victoria Dementieva – APA. Special Representative of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Konstantinos Gerokostopoulos ends his mission to Azerbaijan. The Council of Europe Delegation to Azerbaijan has not confirmed this information yet, but Gerokostopoulos is expected to retire and to leave Azerbaijan in July. The Council of Europe will start hearing on the nominations of the Secretary General’s Special Representative to Azerbaijan in the coming weeks.
Gerokostopoulos has been working in Azerbaijan since February 2011.
