Baku – APA. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by former Foreign Minister of the Federative Republic of Germany Hans-Dietrich Genscher. APA reports that President Aliyev reminded the previous meeting with Hans-Dietrich Genscher. The Head of State expressed satisfaction with the guest’s visit to our country with large delegation and expressed hope that this visit would offer a good opportunity from the standpoint of discussing the issues on further extension of our cooperation.
Former Foreign Minister Germany Hans-Dietrich Genscher said that he was impressed by rapid development processes ongoing in Azerbaijan. He said that his country was interested in strengthening relations with Azerbaijan in all spheres, including Azerbaijan-European Union relations.
The sides exchanged views on further extension of political, economical and cultural cooperation.
