French ambassador summoned to Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry

Baku – APA. Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov summoned French ambassador to Azerbaijan Gabriel Keller to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on January 19.
Press service of the Foreign Ministry told APA that Khalafov expressed Azerbaijan’s concern over French Senate’s discussion of the draft law considering the criminalization of the denial of made-up “Armenian genocide†and informed that the adoption of this draft law would negatively influence the regional processes.
The ambassador noted that he supported the settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict within Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and said that he would deliver Azerbaijan’s position to the French government.
