Moscow. Farid Akbarov – APA. Protest action “Let’s sue Gorbachov” was held in the center of Russia’s capital. APA’s Moscow correspondent reports that the protest actions were organized by “Trade Union of Russian Citizens” Public Union outside Arbat, Novokuznetskaya and Ulitsa 1905 metro stations. The protesters first gathered outside Ekho Moskvi radio station in Arbat, 11, they wanted to draw attention of the people holding posters “Let’s sue Gorbachov”. The protesters said the protest action was held outside the office of Ekho Moskvi radio station, because the radio supports the interests of the West and pursues the policy of dividing Russia.

Head of Moscow office of the Public Union Alexander Kurinov told APA’s Moscow correspondent that they are going to sue Mikhail Gorbachov, because he destroyed the Soviet Union, ordered to kill 132 people in Baku within a day, committed massacres in Vilnius and Tbilisi.
“We have appealed to the Russian Investigation Committee. We demand update of the criminal proceedings against Mikhail Gorbachov. The criminal proceedings were launched in 1991 by chief of the department of the USSR Prosecutor’s Office Viktor Ilyukhin, but as he left office, the criminal proceedings were terminated. We demand the update of the criminal proceedings. If the Investigation Committee rejects our demand, we will appeal to court. If the court rejects, we will appeal to the European Court,” he said.

Alexander Kurinov said Ekho Moskvi radio station plays the role of Gorbachov.
“This radio is pursuing the policy of dividing Russia, as Gorbachov supported the interests of the West at that time,” he said.
He said the protest actions will also be held in other big cities of Russia.
