Vice speaker of Georgian parliament: â€œAzerbaijan and Georgia are not only strategic partners, but they are friends as wellâ€

According to APA, head of the friendship group, MP Ganira Pashayeva said Milli Mejlis attached great importance to the relationship with Georgia.

She noted that President of Azerbaijan pays great attention to the relations with neighbor Georgia. â€œIt should be noted that Georgian leadership also attached great importance to the relations with Azerbaijan. This is a great pattern for usâ€.

Pashayeva said that Azerbaijani-Georgian relations were not only the neighborhood and friendly relations, but it is also high-level strategic partnership. â€œWe, parliamentarians, should also contribute to the development of relations between the two countriesâ€.

Vice speaker of the Georgian parliament Fridon Todua said he was satisfied with his visit to Azerbaijan. â€œI was in Baku about two years ago. Now I see that your city became more beautiful and renovated in the past two years. We were always united. I always say that there is no problem between the Azerbaijani and Georgian peoples. There were some small issues that were solved by the two peoples peacefully. We are strategic partners and close friends. We loved and will love Azerbaijani peopleâ€.
