Maryland state senator Brian Frosh expressed his opinion over Azerbaijan’s Black January commemoration answering to the Azeri Diaspora’s campaign over 22nd anniversary of 20th January events that marked the beginning of the end of Soviet rule in Azerbaijan, APA’s correspondent reports.
“All members of the human family should join together to ensure that the event you describe never happens again. I will certainly remember your message on the 20thâ€, Senator Frosh returned to the Azeri Diaspora members with his answer.
The campaign was held by US Azeris Network, which asks the US elected officials to commemorate the victims “with a minute of silence and statement for the record, just like Texas legislature did last yearâ€.
