Azerbaijani President receives delegation led by speaker of Koreaâ€™s National Assembly

Baku â€“ APA. Azerbaijanâ€™s President Ilham Aliyev received the delegation led by speaker of Koreaâ€™s National Assembly Park Hee-tae, APA reports. The Head of State underlined the successful development of the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Korea.

President said the political relations are on the highest level, economic cooperation produces good results, trade turnover between the countries increased. Satisfied with the Korean companiesâ€™ participation in the projects important for Azerbaijan, the Head of State said the country is interested in enhancing the cooperation.

Underlining the important role of the interparliamentary relations in the bilateral relations, President expressed his confidence that the visit will be successful.

The guest said the main aim of the visit is to participate in the events on the 20th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Korea and hold discussions on enhancement of the bilateral relations.

It was noted that the countries are interested in enhancing cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies, tourism.
