PACE President arrives in Azerbaijan

According to APA, Cavushoglu has told journalists at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku that he makes official visit to Azerbaijan, to the important member country of the Council of Europe. He said he intended to visit other member countries during his presidency and he made his first visit to the countries with some political problems. â€œI visited Balkans and Moldova. Now I am in Azerbaijan. I will visit other countries, including Armenia tooâ€.

He said one of the purposes of his visits was to contribute to the solution to â€œfrozen conflictsâ€ and problems between the countries. â€œIt is one of our duties. I will visit Armenia following Azerbaijan with this goal. Of course, Karabakh problem will be on agenda in both countries. We will try to visit other conflicted countries, including Georgia and Russia, and as PACE, to contribute to the solution of those problemsâ€.

Answering the question â€œCan you make Armenia to understand that it is invader?â€, the PACE president said: â€œWe remind the decisions of the Council of Europe to all countries we visit. We want all member countries to fulfill the decisions of the Council of Europe and PACE requirementsâ€.
