Round-table on â€œSouth Caucasus: Global tendencies and dangersâ€ to be organized at the Center for Strategic Research under the Azerbaijani President

Director of SRC Elkhan Nuriyev, secretary general of the â€œInternational Alertâ€ company Den Smith, project director for Eurasian programs Desislava Rusanova, SRC foreign policy chief Gulshen Pashayeva, professor of the West University Fikrat Sadikhov and others will lecture at the event.

The purpose of the event is to discuss the realities of South Caucasus â€“ one of the important regions in the world from the geopolitic point of view, to prepare struggle strategy against existing tendencies and dangers by assessing them, exchange views on cooperation, peace and security issues and to contribute to international diplomatic processes.

Note that, International Alert is an independent peacebuilding organisation working in over 20 countries and territories around the world. International Alert has been working in the Caucasus since 1993 and to a lesser extent in Central Asia since 2005. The work of the company focuses on supporting civil society, individual peace constituencies and business communities to participate in solving problems of peace and conflict in the region.
