Azerbaijani President receives delegation led by Gambian Foreign Minister

Baku â€“ APA. Azerbaijanâ€™s President Ilham Aliyev received the delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad of the Republic of Gambia Ousman Jammeh, Presidentâ€™s press service told APA.The head of state underlined that it was the first ministerial visit from Gambia to Azerbaijan and expressed his confidence that the mutual visits would continue. Ilham Aliyev noted that the visit offered good opportunities to discuss bilateral relations, international issues.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad of the Republic of Gambia Ousman Jammeh conveyed the greetings of Gambian President Yahya Jammeh. The minister noted that Gambian President attached great importance to the development of the relations with Azerbaijan. Ousman Jammeh said the visit was of great importance for his country and expressed his hope that effective discussions would be held on the prospects of the relations during the visit.
The head of state thanked for Gambian President Yahya Jammehâ€™s greetings and asked Ousman Jammeh to convey his greetings to Gambian President.
