Gambian Foreign Minister: â€œWe are always ready to defend Azerbaijanâ€™s fair voice at the international arenaâ€

The Gambian officials visited the genocide mass grave in Guba and were informed about the cruel massacres committed by Armenians there in 1918. The visitors saw the human skeletons with signs of atrocities and tortures committed by Armenians against the peaceful residents of Guba, who became victims of genocide.

The Gambian officials said they would put forward an initiative to defend fair voice of Azerbaijan at the international arena. Minister Ousman Jammeh told APA that he was shocked with what he saw. â€œI heard about the genocide mass grave, but I was shocked when I saw it. Such barbarism against the humanity is unacceptable. We are always ready to defend Azerbaijanâ€™s fair voice at the international arena. Gambia will further support Azerbaijan at UNâ€.

The guests visited the industrial enterprises of Guba, as well as Red Settlement populated by the Highland Jewish people. They prayed at the Ardabil Mosque in Guba.
