According to Mammadyarov, today he has had a phone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and had a meeting with Chief of the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey and Special Envoy of the Prime Minister Firudin Sinirlioglu: “Sinirlioglu and I conducted discussions about the meeting to be held between Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Armenian president Serzh Sarkisyan on the sidelines of a nuclear security summit in Washington. I was informed about Turkey’s position on this issue. Turkey has once again proved that it takes steps to bring peace and stability to whole South Caucasus. I hope there will be some progresses as a result of the meetings in the United States, updated Madrid principles will be adopted and t will be possible to start working on great peace agreement.â€
