Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev receives EU Commissioner

Baku - APA. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received the delegation headed by European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Å tefan FÃ¼le on April 9, APA reports. The head of state said that EU Commissioner Å tefan FÃ¼leâ€™s visit to Azerbaijan gave good opportunity for discussion of realized programs and successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and EU. Noting that the level of our relations arouses consent, President Aliyev said he hoped further cooperation would cover more spheres.

Touching upon EU â€“ Azerbaijan relations, FÃ¼le said that the purpose of the visit was to discuss issues on current state and perspectives of cooperation and extension our relations.

Different spheres of Azerbaijan-EU cooperation, Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict over Nagorno Karabakh, Eastern Partnership Program, cooperation in energy sphere and other issues were discussed at the meeting.
