Serzh Sargsyan: â€œThe return of regions around Nagorno Karabakh to Azerbaijan can be reviewed as a compromiseâ€

Baku. Lachin Sultanova â€“ APA. â€œThe return of regions around Nagorno Karabakh can be reviewed as a compromiseâ€, Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan told Syrian Al Watan newspaper, APA reports. The Armenian president said that those territories were not populated and used: â€œArmenia can review the return of these regions to Azerbaijan after that the Karabakh people get a real opportunity for self-determination and working mechanisms for the development, but under the term of saving corridor between Nagorno Karabakh and Armenia. The idea of compromise is based on reciprocation. It needs to understand that unilateral compromise in such cases deepens existing threatsâ€.
