Committee of Ministers publishes decisions on the execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights

Baku. Viktoriya Dementyeva-APA. The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe concluded on 4 March 2010 its first special human rights meeting devoted to the supervision of the execution of the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights. The decisions adopted directly at the meeting in some 25 cases or groups of cases against Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Italy, Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Turkey, Ukraine and United Kingdom have just been published. More information on the execution process and the state of execution in cases pending for execution supervision can be found on the website of the Committee of Ministers and the special website of the Department for the execution of the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights as well as in the Committee of Ministers’ Annual Reports on its execution supervision.
