Azerbaijani Foreign Minister meets with CICA Executive Director

Baku. Lachin Sultanova â€“ APA. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov met with the Executive Director of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), Ambassador Dulat Bakishev, press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan told APA.
CICA Executive Director said Azerbaijan played a great role in establishing the organization and was making important contribution to its current activity. Bakishev gave details about the activity and prospective plans of the organization.

In his turn, Minister Mammadyarov highly appreciated CICA activity for intensification of relations and confidence building in Asia and emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts in this context. He also mentioned cooperation between Azerbaijan and the organization.

Then the diplomats discussed regional and other issues of common interests.
