Baku. Viktoriya Dementyeva - APA. Report on Azerbaijani municipal elections will be heard at the 18th plenary session of the CE Congress of Local and Regional Authorities on March 18. French Francis Lek will present the report, APA reports quoting the organization’s website. He was an observer at the municipal elections in Azerbaijan held on December 23, 2009.
According to the preliminary variant of the report, the municipal elections were prepared well from technical standpoint and held in a quite atmosphere. But observers noted the shortcoming of pluralist democracy at the election campaign.
