Meeting of Azerbaijan-Libya intergovernmental commission to be held on March 7

Baku. Lachin Sultanova - APA. The second meeting of Azerbaijan-Libya intergovernmental commission will be held on March 7 in Tripoli. Delegation headed by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov who is chairman from the Azerbaijani side of the commission leaves for Libya today, APA reports.

Different directions of Azerbaijan-Libya cooperation in economic and humanitarian sphere, as well as opening the SOCAR representation in Libya, the working issues of Azerbaijani doctors in this country will be discussed at the meeting.

Note that, the first meeting of the intergovernmental commission has been held on November 26, 2008 in Baku. Deputy Foreign Minister Mohammad Omer Al-Barrani leads the commission from the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya side.
