Azerbaijani Presidential Administration condemns decision of U.S. House Committee

Chief of socio-political department of the Administration Ali Hasanov said that the step taken by the U.S. congressmen was incorrect and unfair.
â€œAll the states, which participated in the events in one of the fronts of the World War I in 1915, underwent losses to some extent. Independent historians and researchers, not the members of the Congress of the country that claims to be super power, should determine who had more losses in those events. The Azerbaijani government unambiguously condemns the step taken by the Congressmen, says that it is unfair, pro-Armenian decision and has anti-Turkish essence. We consider that this decision does not coincide with the interests of the US and the American people and will damage the international image of the country,â€ he said.

Ali Hasanov expressed his confidence that the decision of the Committee will be property assessed in the House of Representatives, rejected and the U.S. government will disclaim the unfair responsibility.
