Marching commemorating Khojaly tragedy to be held in front of the House of Parliament in London

Baku â€“ APA. Public Union Ireli, as a part of series of events commemorating Khojaly tragedy in different European countries will hold its next event in front of the House of Parliament in London by marching on the â€œParliament Squareâ€ on February 26 at 12:00.

According to the information given from the press service of the Public Union Ireli to APA, demonstration will start from the Trafalgar Square to the Parliament Square, where will be held. The event is expected to bring together more than 150 Azerbaijani youth and students. Representatives of Public Union in London city, Oxford Azerbaijan Community, Azerbaijani Youth Club, York Azerbaijan Community, and Bristol Azerbaijan Youth Organization will also participate at the event. Public Union has prepared special t-shirts and slogans which will be used during the event. The books and brochures to be used during the event have been presented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. This yearâ€™s event commemorating tragedy of the century will be special because of its broad participants that will be joined by more Azerbaijani Organizations and students studying in the United Kingdom. During the event the mottoes, calling the United Kingdom (UK) and other international Organizations, as well as the British Parliament to recognize Khojaly as genocide will be presented.

Following the event, the participants will be divided into separate groups and travel to the different densely populated places of the UK to distribute booklets and brochures delivering the realities of the Khojaly massacre and Armenian brutalities to the local people.

Moreover, tens of UK TV and radio stations, as well as various telecommunication and information agencies have been informed to broadcast the current event.
