UN Resident Coordinator Bruno Pouezat ends his mission in Azerbaijan

Baku. Lachin Sultanova â€“ APA. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov received the UNDP Resident Coordinator Bruno Pouezat on ending of his mission in Azerbaijan.

Press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA that Pouezat expressed satisfaction with the development process in Azerbaijan during his activity in the country. He emphasized that Azerbaijan became leading country in the region and would achieve sustainable development as a result of reforms. He spoke about his useful cooperation with the government of Azerbaijan and said a number of successful projects were carried out.

Mammadyarov said Azerbaijan also attached great importance to this cooperation. The minister said increase of economic opportunities intensified the governmentâ€™s policy on international assistance and appreciated UN experience in this field.

Mammadyarov wished successes to Pouezat in his future activity.
