Workshop and exhibition on 18th anniversary of Khojaly Genocide organized in India

Baku – APA. Workshop and exhibition dedicated to 18th anniversary of Khojaly Genocide was organized by the embassy of Azerbaijan in India at the Jamia Millia Islamia University. The embassy told APA representatives of the university administration, professors and students attended the event.

Azerbaijani ambassador to India Tamerlan Garayev informed the participants about the Khojaly genocide in details. He said occupation of the Nagorno Karabakh was still continued and as a result of this occupation one million Azerbaijanis became refugees and internally displaced persons, Armenians destroyed cultural and historic monuments in the occupied territories, committed crimes against humanity.

The participants viewed documentary about the genocide, saw video tapes and photos. They collected signatures to address the world leaders within the international campaign “Justice for Khojaly”.
