Azerbaijani newly-appointed ambassador to Turkmenistan presented credentials to president

Baku. Lachin Sultanova â€“ APA. Azerbaijani newly-appointed ambassador to Turkmenistan Vahdat Sultanzadeh presented his credentials to President of Turkmenistan Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov. According to APA, the President congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and said Sultanzadeh contributed to the strengthening of friendship and cooperation between the two countries while working at the embassy. Berdimuhammedov said relations between the two countries were in a high level and they were achieving new dynamics and richness.

The ambassador delivered greetings and good wishes of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to President Berdimuhammedov and congratulated him on third year of his presidency.

The existing situation and prospects of Azerbaijan-Turkmen relations were discussed at the meeting. The ambassador told the President that Turkemn classic poet Mollanepesâ€™ book was published in Baku in Azeri. Works of other representatives of the Turkmen literature, including Mahdumgulu are prepared for publication.

President Berdimuhammedov accepted this information with pleasure and emphasized the importance of cultural-spiritual relations between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan. He said these relations had deep roots and were undeniable factor in mutual trust between the two peoples.
