He said Tabriz was ready to establish close relations with Azerbaijan in the field of arts, science, trade and tourism.
“We can construct a new road from Nakhchivan-Julfa border so that the big cars moving between Turkey and Azerbaijan can reach Azerbaijan in a short time,†he said.
Ogtay Asadov called Tabriz his motherland and said visiting this city was his wish. He added that he will visit all cities of the province if he comes to Eastern Azerbaijan again.
The delegation led by Ogtay Asadov visited Tabriz plant of tractors, then sepulcher of poets and grave of Mahammad Huseyn Shahriyar. Following this, they visited the house of ayatollah Mohsun Mujtahid Shabustari, representative of the supreme religious leader in Eastern Azerbaijan.
