Baku. Viktoriya Dementyeva - APA. US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs William J. Burns, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, met with President Ilham Aliyev, William Burns told journalists. Burns said he had had positive and intensive talk with the president.
Touching upon his meeting with representatives of civil society within the framework of the visit, Burns said the goal of the visit was the extension and deepening of US-Azerbaijan relations.
