Delegation led by speaker of Azerbaijani parliament Ogtay Asadov to pay three-day official visit to Iran

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev â€“ APA. On February 20-22 the delegation led by speaker of Azerbaijani parliament Ogtay Asadov will be on visit to Iran at the invitation of chairman of Islamic Consultative Assembly, APA reports. The delegation includes chairmen of parliamentâ€™s committees Eldar Ibrahimov, Shamsaddin Hajiyev, Hadi Rajabli, parliamentarians Ali Ahmadov, Asef Hajiyev, head of the parliamentâ€™s office Safa Mirzayev and other officials. Speaker of Azerbaijani parliament will be in the legislative body of Iran, meet with chairman of Islamic Consultative Assembly Ali Larijani. They will discuss present state and prospects of the interparliamentary relations, cooperation. The delegation will meet with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and chairman of the Supreme National Security Council. They will discuss deepening of the relations, development of the economic, cultural, humanitarian relations. The members of the delegation will also visit Tabriz. They will meet with governor of Eastern Azerbaijan province Ahmad Alirza Beygi, representative of the countryâ€™s religious leader Ayatollah Mohsin Mojtahid Shabestari. They will exchange views on bilateral cooperation.
