Report on Azerbaijan to be presented at the meeting of PACE Monitoring Committee in Paris, March 17

Samad Seyidov said co-rapporteur for Azerbaijan Andres Herkel and Joseph Debono Grech will present the report on the honouring of obligations and commitments by Azerbaijan vis-Ã -vis the Council of Europe.

According to Samad Seyidov, discussions on the activity of the PACE Subcommittee on Nagorno Karabakh problem will be held that day. The subcommittee stopped functioning after its chairman died. Head of the delegation said appointment of new head of the Subcommittee would bee discussed.
â€œI have stated several times that we are interested in constant discussions on Nagorno Karabakh problem in the Council of Europe. The Council of Europe should keep attention on the problem until it is solved. I am sure that the work will continue,â€ he said.

Samad Seyidov did not publicize the names of the nominees for the post.
