Azerbaijani Consul General to Los-Angeles visits San-Francisco and San-JosÃ©

Baku - APA. Officials of Azerbaijani Consulate General in Los-Angeles visited the northern part of California. Consul General Elin Suleymanov and Consul Elman Abdullayev met with San-JosÃ© mayor Chuck Reed, APA reports. Cooperation on new technologies between the companies situated in â€œSilicon valleyâ€ and Azerbaijan was discussed at the meeting.

Azerbaijani diplomats met with representatives of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) in San-Francisco. Relations among Azerbaijan, US and Israel were discussed at the meeting. Delivering a speech at the â€œThe Commonwealth Club of Californiaâ€ Suleymanov spoke about expedient policy of the Azerbaijani leadership aiming to ensure energy security of the region and integration. The energy resources of the Caspian were in the focus of attention at the meeting with the students of San-Francisco and San-JosÃ© universities.
