OSCE Chairman-in-Office: The proposals made by Kazakhstanâ€™s President to Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents show the mechanism of the solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict

The restoration and prolongation of the term of OSCEâ€™s mission in Georgia, Abkhazia problem were discussed at the meeting. The sides also touched on Georgiaâ€™s position on the operation of Sukhumi-Moscow flight.

Briefing was held after the meeting.

To the question of APAâ€™s correspondent about the proposals made by Kazakhstanâ€™s President Nursultan Nazarbayev on the solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict, OSCE Chairman-in-Office said:
â€œI paid visits to Azerbaijan and Armenia. The aim of my visit was to create peaceful atmosphere in the conflict zones, deliver the goodwill proposals of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev. I informed President Ilham Aliyev about the proposals of Nursultan Nazarbayev when I was in Azerbaijan. I presented the similar proposals to Armenian President. They show the mechanism of the solution to the conflict. Kazakhstan has expressed the interests of both sides in the proposals. These proposals were formed after the situation on the conflicts was characterized,â€ he said.
