Law on â€œCompulsory insurance against losing ability to work as a result of industrial accidents and professional diseasesâ€ adopted at the second reading

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev - APA. The law on â€œCompulsory insurance against losing ability to work as a result of industrial accidents and professional diseasesâ€ has been discussed at the second sitting of todayâ€™s meeting of the parliament. Head of the parliament’s Economic Policy Committee Ziyad Samadzadeh provided detailed information about the document, APA reports. To him, this law controls the compulsory insurance against losing ability to work as a result of industrial accidents and professional diseases, determines its legal, economic and organizational basis.

The chief of the committee noted that â€œCompulsory insurance against losing ability to work as a result of industrial accidents and professional diseasesâ€ consists of the Azerbaijani Constitution, Civil Code, Labor Code, law on â€œInsurance activityâ€, as well as international agreements and other normative legal documents.

After the discussions, the law consisting of 23 articles was adopted at the second reading.
