Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev – APA. Speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Oqtay Asadov said the case of Azerbaijani scientist arrested in Iran was investigated. According to APA, MP Fazil Mustafa asked the speaker to raise the issue of releasing the Azerbaijani scientist Rasheed Aliyev during his upcoming visit to Iran. “One of the outstanding scientists of Azerbaijan is in Iranian jail. Rasheed Aliyev is innocent. We ask you to achieve his release from the arrestâ€.
Speaker Oqtay Asadov said he knew this issue. “We are investigating this issue and we will give necessary supportâ€.
